We do cook at home believe it or not. I saw Taco Pizza somewhere and had to try it..
This is fun for any age, and great for leftovers or small amounts of meat.
I did cheat this (hey I was at home). I used a store bought raw pizza crust. Naan bread would be great too!
I also used a store bought taco sauce - not a salsa but a taco sauce.
Ground beef cooked with my fav taco seasoning.
Lettuce, tomato, cheese, and I did put jalapenos and salsa on top.
Cook taco meat and set aside.
Chop lettuce, tomato, etc.
Spread out pizza dough, or Naan bread. Top with taco sauce and place in oven and bake.
Remove from oven and put your hot taco meat on top.
Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, or desired toppings, and dive in.
Note - what we liked about it, is that it is like a taco in that the cheese isn't melted.
Note- this can be made vegetarian, just sub beans, or whatever you prefer for the meat.
