I call them delicious.
We did a cater recently where we sent 8 trays of "Garbage Can Nachos"!
The secret -- layers.
-Choose your chip. We chose Yellow Corn Rounds. Seriously the thicker the chip the better. No thin chips here.
-Choose your protein. We made: Pinto Bean (we used whole beans), Chicken and Beef (Hamburger Meat as we were doing tacos too).
- Start the Layers:
Chips, cheese, protein, then layer again, chips, cheese protein, then layer again, chips, cheese, protein.
Now -- put in oven at 400 degrees, and melt all together. Cheese should be bubbly and a hint brown.
Top: Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Olives, Salsa, Avocado. **in New Mexico we might add Red and Green Chile.
Seriously the sky is the limit on these.
